Advantages for e-filing, if you are due a refund:

You know the IRS received your return because we receive an acknowledgement. You will receive your refund from 7 to 15 business days from the date of acknowledgement. We must have a copy of a check to insure the correct and complete banking information. Also, you don’t have to worry about the mail service problems, or anyone stealing your check from your mailbox because it will be in your bank account! If you are getting a refund from Federal & State, you will receive separate deposits. You will receive a printout telling you when to expect your deposit. You WILL have to call the bank to confirm the deposit or it will be on your next statement.

Advantages for e-filing, if you owe tax:

You know the IRS received your return because we receive an acknowledgement. You can file your return anytime, but payment is not due until April 15. To pay your taxes, you may allow the IRS to directly debit your bank account. Or You may mail a voucher with your payment.
